The Master’s is Just Around the Corner

As the golf world anticipates the return of Tiger Woods, we look forward to the Masters Golf Tournament. Whether or not this turns out to be his big debut, it will definitely be an exciting event. The Masters will take place from April 8-11 in Augusta, Georgia with practice rounds on the 5th-7th. Even if you can’t be there in person, you won’t want to miss following the action.

Nevada State Womens Amateur

Mountain Falls Golf Club just finished hosting the Nevada State Women’s Golf Association 2009 State Amateur Championship this past Wednesday. The ladies thoroughly enjoyed the course even with the cooler temperatures that hampered scoring conditions. However, there was great golf and a good time was had by al. Mountain Falls Golf Club looks forward to hosting the event again sometime in the future!!!

Las Vegas Hosts PGA event

The 2009 Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open starts today and we have a very nice field competing for the event. Unfortunately very few big names are attending. The event gives players trying to keep their PGA cards an opportunity to move forward in the year earnings which is terrific. There is a possibility that the event may move to the spring which would be a great change for the overall field.

Mountain Falls/Highlands Falls Home and Home Scheduled for Sept. 28th

The Mens Association’s will be battling for bragging rights Monday, Septemebr 28th. The Highland Falls team handled the Mountain Falls group in the first match back in May! Maybe we can turn the tables on the Las Vegas group this time around.
