We will be aerifying our greens beginning the afternoon of March 28. Please note, the golf course will be closed on March 29 and will reopen on March 30. Sorry for the inconvenience. It is an important part of maintaining our course so we can provide you with the best golfing experience possible. While we take care of our course, treat yourself to a great meal at the Mountain Falls Grill Room which will remain open on the 29th.

During the months of December and January the Mountain Falls Golf Club will have 9:00 a.m. shotgun starts each and everyday! The likelyhood of frost delays each day throughout the winter season makes having 9:00 a.m. (or when the course opens after 9:00) the best possible way to expedite play for everyone. Come out and fill up one of the morning shotguns starts today!!!

We are going to replace our current golf carts the last week in October. We will be receiving a brand new fleet of E-Z-GO® TXT® golf cars which have been the staple of their fleet for years. We look forward to having new carts and enhancing your golf experience here at Mountain Falls Golf Club!!!

The PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup continue to be very exciting week in and week out! Somehow the leaderboard has been top heavy with possible winners and each week it seems to be going down to the last putt. Unfortunately, with football season starting the last two tournaments will have to take a slight back seat.

The action in the FedExCup was really heated this past weekend. We were one putt away from having what may have been the greatest playoff in history! It is great to see Ernie Els have such a nice finish along with Tiger Woods, Padraig Harrington, Steve Stricker and Paul Goydos. Hopefully the next couple of weeks will be as entertaining!

With Tiger Woods not making the weekend play at The British Open, Tom Watson more than made up for it with the dramatic finish (which we wished had been slightly different than the ultimate outcome) – taking nothing away from Stewart Cink!!! The PGA Championship will be played next at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota August 10-16. Tiger will once again be a heavy favorite to win his 15th Major title!!! Mountain Falls Golf Club would like to thank everyone for their support over the past 7 years. The golf course opened on June 22, 2002 with only 9 holes, a driving range and a snack bar. We have come a long way from those days!!!

The LPGA will compete for the US Open Championship starting Thursday at Saucon Valley Golf Club. I had the opportunity to play the golf course several years ago and it will be a terrific test for the players this weekend. Hopefully, the tournamnet will be tightly contested and we will have a great time watching the ladies compete this Sunday afternoon! There will be a lot of big name players in the event, however we will miss Michelle Wie and a couple others who have played some really solid golf recently!

The British Open will be staged at Turnberry this year from July 16th through July 19th. Tiger Woods is a heavy favorite once again to capture the title and move a little closer to break Jack Nicklaus’ all time PGA major victories record. This should be a great tournament and very entertaining, as you never know what the weather may have in store for the tournament!!!

Father’s Day is just around the corner. June 21st will be a busy day as the final round of the US Open at Bethpage Black will be contested that day. Mountain Falls Golf Club will be running a great special for all golfers that day with a cookout coupon for all golfers and a father’s day brunch for the non golfers. We will post more details as we get closer to the date, so stay tuned!
